Waiting for mine from Extreme Outfitters. I will need a sheath to attach to my Whitewater Rescue Vest with opener. Anyone reccamend a maker?
 
SARK arrived yesterday! I really like this knife. The blunt tip makes this an excellent letter opener! I will try to get to the Auto Salvage(junk yard) to try the knife out on a belted person(volunteer of course) to become familiar with its intended usage. The "Wave" is more difficult for deployment from my Levi's because of the substantial curve of the blade when folded. Still looking for a deployment sheath for my Rescue Vest. This knife appears to be an excellent adaptation of an existing handle and new blade form.
 
Just got an E-Mail from Steve at Extreme saying mine is on the way. The mail man had better be careful putting his hand near my door, I might end up pulling him in as well . . . . !
 
After some practice I have found that to deploy the knife using the wave, a backward and up motion is needed. Using this motion the knife snaps open! Cuts great on heavy duty cardboard too(trash day today). Deer hunting is coming up so the salvage yard will have to wait. Might make a good gut hook for opening the deer, have to try it!
 
Mine has just arrived and what a knife it is !

I now will have to carry it at work and see if I can be first on scene of an accident to try it out on seat-belts.

Who cares if anyone's trapped or not, you just have to try these things out, don't you !
