Many of you have received a letter from us saying that we are going to give the Sarki Shop a test run. If we can get enough steady business the Sarki Shop will open full time but if not Terry will have to go back to a regular job. If he does go back to work we are not sure what will happen to the Sarki Shop. We will have to see when and if that time comes. Several of our customers have wanted us to go full time in the past and we were not able to. No matter how much we enjoy the Sarki Shop there are still bills to pay and kids to care for.

Terry will still be doing sheaths of course and he has found a way to do handles w/o killing my allergies. He will also make sheaths and possibly wood handles for other styles of knives. Please e-mail T_Sarki@yahoo.com with any orders you might have. He can get an idea of what you need and discuss price with you.

The Sarki Shop has always been dedicated to quality work at a reasonable price. Please contact us before shipping and insure all your packages. We can not be responsible for items lost in shipping.

And bills to pay and kids to care for are the bottom line!!!!
I for one feel that the work Terry does is way beyond the price he gets for it.
In my opinion a nice handle and a decent scabbard are just as important as the blade because without a comfortable handle and a way to carry your knife safely the blade just becomes another boat anchor.
An excellent craftsman desrves excellent pay just as the excellent knifesmiths.:)

Just remember guys when T-Bone and Sandi get as famous as Daniel Winkler and his wife, or pick your personal favorite, we can all say, "I knew them when they first started out full time!!!!":D

Thanks for the kind words. They're very much appreciated. I hope we can get enough orders to stay afloat. I plan on doing more than just khukuri sheaths. All leather hunting knife/fighting knife sheaths and handles. I'm am doing handles again too.

I hope the Sarki shop makes it as an independent operation. If you need to raise your prices to make this happen, Terry, go ahead. Most of the folks you've done work for think you are underpriced, including me.
 
The Sarki Shop will be running a special on canvas covers. Any order for a canvas cover placed and shipped between now and Sept.30th will be half price. We usually charge $20 ea. + shipping. You can get one now for only $10 + shipping. What better way to protect your toys. You can order them in o.d. green or body bag brown. I can do them in camo or other colors but it will be a little extra to cover the fabric. (I can not do canvas covers for quick draw sheaths.)
Please contact us before shipping. I will not need your khukuri (unless Terry is doing other work for you) just send your Chakma, Karda & Sheath.
