My opinion is that I love the knife, and really want one!

Stupid college :grumpy:

Edit: While I am editing this, I realized what everyone is talking about, with the forum being slow.

It's one of the very best. You asked for it, so........

MMIAM - how does it compare in use with your CGFBM? I guess I think of them both as big knives. Tx

I thought of both of them as large until Jaxx let me play around with thte CGFBM. While the Squatch is a fantastic camp knife, the FBM is the queen of choppers and much larger while not feeling like it.

Hey bro, what is the smaller knife that's in your pics? Thanks!

The Sarsquatch is awesome, j, you're gonna like it! It's a mean user, but watch out for rust. Good chopper as it's slightly blade heavy, but plenty light for regular carry. Convex edge performs really well, and easy to keep sharp.

Great pics Balislinger!

I have been drawn to this design for quite awhile. Just never acted on it. While not my first Busse, it is my first bigger one.

Thats the Laconico HWK+, same knife thats in my avatar. It in itself is an awesome knife.

Laconico makes an awesome knife! I just wish he still made leather sheaths for his knives. I would love to have one for my Explorer, below. I think he was one of the best leather sheath makers, even though he specializes in knives.

I think you will really love the sarsquatch, comp finish. Indeed, you will need to watch out for rust. None of my Busse's have had any rust issues, but the decarb on the comp finishes apparently are rust aggressive. If I got my hands on a Squatch comp finish, I would take all that decarb layer off just to avoid that problem. The blade height, and the convex edge combine to make it look like a very useful design.

Ray Laconico makes very clean useful looking knives. He is definitely on my list.

Those Explorers are nice, I have one with a 9in blade on order.... For a 1/4in thick blade, they feel nothing like it. I love Rays work, I have a few, including one of his folders.:o

Great pics guys!

I plan on removing the decarb layer when it arrives.
