Thanks for looking

I am not personally big on blade coatings and don't personally have much reason or need for any type of camo, but no doubt that is AWESOME artwork for a blade.

More pics at UpArmored's gallery here: http://uparmored.tripod.com/id22.html

The Sarsquatch it at the bottom of the gallery - hard to find/recongnize. ;)

.

That thing looks sweet. Just dont drop it. You might not be able to find it. How durable is the coating?

That's what I'm wondering too??? Is it comparable to the normal Busse coating? and did you cover the competition finished blade, or did you go over Busse's original coating?

It looks superb, and I'd be interested in send a Competition Finish Busse in if it's fairly durable.

Thank you DWRW,
I don't know why my pic didn't show up the first time
Thanks everyone for the comments.
To answer some of the ?. The blade came to me without any coating.
Like all coatings it will wear, how much depends on what your doing with the knife. If it sits in a safe it will last forever. If it's a hard user (chopping and the like) it's going to wear more quickly.
For an example, My department issue .308 tactical rifle (in the photo) I coated five years ago and has been through a lot of use and many stalks dragging it across the ground. It is showing some wear and one spot is in need of touch up from when I drug it across some cinder blocks.

Nice work! Looks good.

I'd be interested in how it looks after the average camp fire log work session.

Is it a Duracoat finish?

Yes it is Duracoat

It should have a good hold then but it will wear more than the standard Busse coating under hard use.

Do you just air cure/time cure it?

That dark with net pattern - did you go dark base to light with that one?

I coated this Busse a while back for another customer

I think I've seen that one before. Nice.

Is that one light base to dark?

Great job on those blades:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I've got a Sarq that is begging for that digital camo finish!!

Mostly air/time cure, however in the winter months I have heat cured.
the Sniper Snake Skin Starts with a matt black base.

I really like the work you do cmdr249!

I hope you get a lot more requests cause I doubt we'll tire of seeing your finished product!

I can't claim that in any way, shape or form...I just asked a few questions.

That work belongs to 308sniper.
