Anybody have XM or Sirius satellite radio. Any opinions? Which is best? Is it worth it for someone that spends a minimum of two hours per day behind the wheel?

I have had Sirius for a few months and I love it.I chose it for hardware reasons, mostly, and because it carries the NFL.
I have friends that have XM and they are happy with it too.
The sound quality is limited to the FM band dynamic range (50 hz to 15 khz?) but without any static or interference so it is really quite good.

If you go with Sirius,I can highly recommend the Audiovox unit available at Best Buy and elsewhere. It comes with a mobile docking unit and you can buy additional home and mobile docking units that each come with their own antennas and power cords.I have docking units in my home, boat and truck and it takes two seconds to insert or remove the 8 oz. receiver from a docking unit.

It is also perfectly user friendly with a large bright display showing channel, artist and song title.
It has a 20 song favorites memory that will alert you whenever any of those songs are about to be played on any Sirius channel. It is easy to enter and overwrite(one button) songs in your favorites and,if you wish, one button to change to that channel.

On the boat,it gets played 24/7 and reception appears to be uneffected by thunderstorms or anything else.

Is the satalite radio the same as 'digital' - but it's just another way of saying it. I.e the BBC digital radio channels?
