It looks much better than the Blk coat, better than the blasted one too, IMHO.

Nice. Care to post a "how-to" for the rest of us? I don't really care for the coatings and have a couple of blades that I would like to convert over like this.

Very nicely done!!

Question though, I thought only INFI had the "INFI dimples"?? I guess modified INFI has them too!

Very nice Santi! :D The vertical markings say that was done on a belt? I'm tempted to go back to my knife strippin again! ;)

That looks like an awesome job. A step by step How-to would be great, with pictures if possible.

Santi,

My wife really likes shiny Busse knives, and she really likes the Basics.

I need to hide post's like this one from her, or she will develope unrealistic expectations of what I am willing to provide.

You do good work, the knife looks simply outstanding.

Thank you for sharing.

There's nothing complicated and it's REALLY not THAT difficult.
Just a block of wood and coupla pieces of sand-paper and ScotchBrite.

Go slowly.
From maybe 220 --> 280 --> 400 and finish the job with ScothBrite.

That's all, really. :D

Is that really all there is to it? No chemicals? I hope your not joking because If that's all there is to it then I'm doing mine tonight, or atleast starting on mine tonight.

Thanks for the information!

Santi,

Your Basic 7 looks very nice! Thank you for the pictures, including the one of your sanding block setup!
