Just curious of Vg-10 blade finishes out of Japan, I think Moki. Persians , Large Lum , Breeden Rescue. I have searched for some sort of dialogue on this specific subject. I'm not talking fit and finish. Just the satin look. If there is a thread where it has been discussed . Even if its closed. Point me there please. I don't need to rehash anything. I just want some education so I can understand. I don't want to discuss locations of manufacturing. I'm OK on that subject. I understand steels and some of their limitations when it comes to types of finishes. So no explanation needed on that. If this were to turn into something other than shiny foot prints I will close it quickly or a mod can. I want to feel better not worse.
I hope you get what I am after. If not then please don't assume.

Thanks

James

SRR sent you an email.
I think I can get the help I need from here. If you have anything to add. Please PM me.
I may be comparing apples to oranges. I'm not knocking Japan. They know how to make knives as good as anyone.

thanks,
James
