Satin Finish = Stonewashed Now??

Hey guys, I'm prolly going to have to get my Mini Commander directly from Emerson because I don't want to wait 3-6 months for one.

However, the website still describes the knife as Satin Finish, and doesn't show a Swedge.

I'm dead set on the Stonewash Finish, and plan to call them when I actually order the knife, but I figured I would also ask here to see if anyone has ordered from the site and received their Mini Commander in Stonewash with Swedge. Is the description on the site just outdated, or are you stuck with the old style and finish if you order off Emerson's site?

Much of it is honestly outdated. For instance the 13 now has a swedge but they never changed the pic from when it was put up. But still I'd say call or at least email and you'll have an answer real quick just to be certain.

I bought a cqc15 Sf and it came as stonewashed....:thumbup:
 
yea i thought my cqc 13 was going to be stonewashed and have the swedge. the date on the blade says 2006. I guess that is why it was on close out
 
I have a stone washed mini-comm because of the praise of forum members. No regrets on the purchase, it's a great knife! Hope you like yours as well.

That would be the reason. It never hurts to confirm before ordering, whether the knife is stone washed or Cerakote.
