Hello All,

I just purchased this 3/16" Satin Jack with Snakeskin Nukarta handles from a fellow Forumite (thanks again Clyde). She is to be my camp knife so I shall not baby her :) So in forum fashion I shall post a couple of pics. . .

About 2 weeks till my camping trip on Lake Huron. Operational trials will be there.

Nice score there! Ol' Clyde is a joy to deal with eh? :D Heh heh, at first I thought the sig line read "Satin Jack Addiction"!! Well, on second thought, it kinda is an addiction isnt it?;)
 
It's nice to see how these knives make their circles. I believe I was the original owner of that particular Satin Jack. The edge is standard not assymetrical, right? I sure miss that one.
 
Now I can relate to everyone's affection for this knife. I got my desert SJ a few weeks ago and it really feels great in the hand.

You are correct the edge is symmetrical. This knife gives me my current camping trio.

Camp Tramp

These will all get used on my next trip to check their utility :) On with the testing . . .
 
Yep, that was originally from Danbo's stash of Infi. I hated to see her go as well but gotta make room and free up some funds for the new stuff. Hope it serves you well and have fun on your trip Don!

Boy, ain't that the truth? It seems like I have a perpetual rotation of toys, and I like it that way. All except for mailing away part. ;) :D

Maybe I can just skip the mailing away part, and simply have people mail me new toys! Yeah, that's the ticket! :D
 
Nice! I just got sent a very nice SJ LE in the mail....can't keep it though :(

Now, that new SJ is bloody awesome too :cool:
