just scored this one. never seen another like it. the description says green linen micarta scales, but they arent like any i have seen.

any comments?

Well I just went looking for it and then realized they guy was a dealer. It would have never sat like that if he put it were we all look:p . The only problem with that one is that it is so nice I'd never use the dam thing. You know what I mean?:confused: :D

I want an older SJ like that one but I need someone to use it first.

it probably sat for so long just for that reason, i always check alaska guns threads cause he has some nice infi.

ill use this one a bunch then sell/trade it to you later! :D
 
I have one just like it, but 1/4" inch.
There was a thread about this up a while ago.
No one is exactly sure what it is or if it even has a name, I think.
 
The green micarta is very rare. I have a PD variant with the green linen on, it almost looks like a green snakeskin. I wish I had more knives with it on, I actually like it better than the regular snakeskin. If I remember correctly they ordered green and got this, it is one of them that can not be duplicated or something like that.

It's a Desert SJ. I've got one just like it, and my understanding is that there were only 26 made.
 
Mo... those are the best looking handles I have ever seen. Bet they put a smile on your face when you opened the box.
