Anyone heard of a fat Satin Jack? I just received a 1/4" Satin Jack and when I compared to the other one I had, it seemed different. I then measured both, one is .245" and the new one was .270" (includes the coating on both). I noticed a few other small differences, the Busse Combat logo is a different size, the blade shape is a little deeper from the tip down on the new one, as you can see in the picture, the thicker one is a little longer from the handle to the cutting edge, both have the asymetrical grind. The blade differences may just be from two different people doing the grinding, but the blade thickness is positively different. Just curious if anyone had also come across these differences, thanks.

Has no one seen or heard of a fat Satin Jack?

I remember someone saying they had one a while back, within the last 6-9 months, but have no stinkin idea where I saw it.

Some help I am.....

I know a stealth Hog who owns about 8 of the 1/4"s and they all seem a little different in thickness.

I Just Happen to have one of the "Husky" Satin Jacks. It is a little thicker than the normal 1/4". Very nice blade  :D
