If you're just talking about pure chopping power, naturally (pardon the pun), the Natural outlaw would win out. I have the CG NO, the CG BM, and the ZT Satin Jack, and the extra heft in the NO lends itself to better chopping performance than the Satin Jack. You did not specify if this would be the only tool that you would have on your person.
In my opinion, the Satin Jack is the better all-around knife for camping and hiking. I find that I use it a lot more than my larger knives while out on the trail. In a pinch, it will do what I need if nothing else is available in the way of a big chopper, but I usually have something else for that task anyway. On the other side, the Satin Jack can handle the more delicate tasks that require a little more finesse the the NO really isn't suited for, but it still has the hard durability instilled by that wonderful stuff called INFI.
In all honesty, I usually carry both the BM and the Satin Jack, now. But, if had to choose just one, well, I'd hide the other one under my pack!!
