Ok, I finally got time to put this on paper. I recently recieved my first Busse, a Satin Jack(LE), and was quite impressed with it. I had some kindling for my fire pit that had to be cut so the SJ came along. The knife completed a quarter cord of kindling out miscellanous white pine and red oak limbs that varied from a little over 1" to about 3.5". And did it work well for a 6" blade. The handle felt great the whole time a I was chopping except for the couple of times I swung it wrong(user problem
not a knife problem). Afterward, the knife stayed pretty sharp. I then hacked on a couple of 2x4s and and seperated them very nicely for a 6" blade. I absolutely love the knife, and when I can afford it, it will be joined with more Busses(the larger ones, like a Battle Mistress
. I talked with 1whobuys(Chuck) for a little while at the 1500 GnK show before my personal chopping seminar and told me I would be very happy with my purchase. Thanks Chuck, you were right.
