I was under the impression that the current production was 3/16" thick. However, the Busse site says they are 1/4". Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks.

Cheers,
BJB

They were originally 1/4". They are now 3/16". You know how Jerry is about changing stuff like that, that guy would be late for his funeral, and then leave early becasue the didn't have CBL!

They are, in fact, 3/16ths" now. Jerry will likely update the website ti the 3/16ths" dimension if/when the Satin Jacks are discontinued. ;)

I talked to Kassi for a month or more, and the SJ LE *is* 1/4", and the SJ CG *is* 3/16". You can't have an LE for 3/16" (I wanted that SO much, but it's not possible). So I ended up the the CG, which I got last Thurs. I prefer thinner (7" or less, anyway) blades.., 3/16 to 1/8"..., I'm not gonna prying concrete or opening doors :p

I have a SJ LE and a Satin finished SJ and neither one of them
are anywhere near 1/4 inch. LE is .20 and the Satin is .19.
