Satin Jack Questions

Does the Satin Jack, both LE and CG models, come in 3/16 or 1/4 inch thick INFI blade? the web site says 1/4 but I thought I read somewhere that they are now in 3/16. Also, does the LE model have a Symetrical or Asymetrical edge? Thanks.
 
yes it does:)

i think the le is still 1/4 inch and the other models are 3/16.
the satin finished le and other satin models are symetrical ground and the cg's are asymetrical ground.
i think the original SJ will be sorely missed, it is what the k-bar should have been and would probably made the best all around standard issue knife.
wouldn't it be cool to have a 1/4 incher with fullers or blood grooves on it!:cool:
the sj and the zt-no are tops for easy back country foot carry...

now nimmy don't you wish you really ordered a nimpork special addition sj with all the secret bells and whistles?

Could Jerry chime in on this? I would really like to order a LE SJ,but only in 1/4". Have both the 1/4" and 3/16" CG Jacks,but like the heft of the 1/4" better. Would really like a definative answer on the size thing before I order or they get discontiued.

i ordered one on friday, they are 1/4!! swear to infi!!!:p

i asked for mine to be sterile, satin and NO lettering!:cool:

i agree, i can't help myself and everytime i seem to be close to quiting some other porker posts a cool blade.
i now have my paycheck direct deposited in to kassi's account.

i try jerry's but he just drank the money and no infi showed, at least with kassi babe getting it i get a small trickle of infi coming my way:)
 
I think we should change the company name from BUSSE COMBAT to KASSI KOMBAT !!!!

I caught myself the other day, when one of my teammates asked me who made that awesome ARK and AS I have. Well I replied it is a Kassi Knife Company Special! :D
 
Well after reading this i find i might have a problem. I just received my SJ CG and it's not the 1/4" that it was supposed to be. It's much thinner, like 3/16". It's still a nice knife, but the busse website says it's a 1/4" knife.......

I say again, the CG model is 3/16" , and the LE is 1/4".

Apparently the Busse website info on the CG SJ was never updated when they changed from 1/4" to the current 3/16".

OK,I'll do it. Yours sounds cool,so I'll call and order 1 just like it. Send BB and Shaggi some flowers,Jerry some good booze and if I'm lucky BOTH knives just might make it into my package.:D :D

Hell,if the booze is good enough I just might end up with a flying SJ LE. ;)

My LE is 3/16. I have two CG in 1/4". Now I am going to have to call to see if I can get a 1/4" LE if they have any left!!!!
 
ProPork....Your LE is 3/16!?!? God I'm really getting (more) confused. I'm gonna HAVE to call the shop to order! Got 2 definate answers then you drop this little tidbit.

now that's confusing... le's are 1/4" so you must have a mutant:D

this i believe! and so i was told:)

my le's are 1/4 and my old cg's are 1/4 and my new cg's are 3/16 and my custom nimrod sj special is 3/16

sooooo... now we have to start all over again... WTF ARE THEY AT THIS TIME OF DISCUSSION??

kassi , please clue us in or wake jerry up and put him on the line, enquiring minds want to know.

I bought the LE from Chuck, so it might be something he wanted done. I never asked him. I thought they were all 3/16 since the announcement that went out several months ago.

Oh yeah, I want that set you got Stinky, bring it to Blade. I'll trade my wife for it. :D Don't tell her until we get there though. :D
