Hey Hogs,

I need some help here. Can someone give me the specs on a Satin Jack Tac. I am having a local Afghan fellow make presentation boxes for some very special Satin Jack Tac's and need the specs so I can have the boxes made the right size.

THANKS!

Hey Recon,
The SJTAC has a 6" blade and an overall length of 11.25".
Hope that helps....and I hope we get to see pics one day.
Stay safe!

I'm not at home, otherwise I'd get you a height measurement also...

I'll echo Lazlo as well--thank you for your work and stay safe! Pictures too if it is ever convenient!

Blade width is just under 1 5/8 inches. Width at the widest point is 2 inches (at the talon hole).

does anyone have anything like that for the satin jack?

(I have been around here too long... i saw this thread and thought "ooh, whatabout that russian(slovakian) cad thread from a while ago....")

a good 1 to 1 ratio scanner scan would probably do the trick. it would be free of camera distortion, so you could print it out making sure that the print out was the right length, and you'd have a fairly accurate profile replication

SJTAC: Blade length - 6 7/16"; Blade width - 1 1/2" @ choil to 1 9/16" @ 3 1/2" back from tip; MAX Width - 1 15/16" @ talon hole to top of thumb ramp; Blade thickness - 3/16"; Handle thickness - 3/4"; OAL - 12". Direct measurements of the SJTAC I bought from Tyrkon (sterile tan w/ black paper) nearly a year ago. Pete/PIGmsayre
