I just ordered a Satin Jack CG for myself as a birthday present from my wife.(Great wife, she ordered a Assault Shaker for me for Fathers Day too-I think I`ve got a keeper here! ;) )Does anyone who has one care to share a little info on how they like it ?

Just got both the CG and the LE. Have yet to get either to the field. Next month I hope. Fit and finish on both is the same as all my Busse's. The CG has the potential to be a great every day carry due to it's size and balance. IMHO, it's going to be a pleasure to test it's potential.

I have used my SJ on numerous occasions, not as much as my basic#5,but I do like it alot.It penetrates much better than my 5 due to the thinner tip,it also has a smaller handle which I like due to my smaller hands but also for concealability reasons. The skull crusher is nice for cracking hickory nuts as well. The only thing I do not like is the large finger cut out just forward of the talon hole. The reason I do not like it is that it is harder to position my thumb right over the cutting edge for xtra cutting pressure. You can choke up on it for finer cuuting work because of this cut out. This also gives you slightly more reach out of a smaller blade for chopping or other.Overall I rate this knife(in my opinion)to be the best overall knife in the entire busse line. 1.blade is big enuff to chop 2.blade is small enough to conceal 3.not as thick as you might think. 4.perfect blade shape. 5.Straight handle for easier lashing. 6.not to heavy easy to carry not as noticeable. 7.Great steel.

I'm thinking that the Satin Jack may be my next Busse purchase as well. I would really like to handle one first, even though I have bought all the rest on faith. :D
I would like to see a photo showing the Satin Jack next to the Natural Outlaw for size comparison. That way I could get an Idea of the size and dimensions. I am more visually oriented. The listed measurements don't really help me much.:)

So how how about some one post a review and some pics?

D.N. Thank you.

Let it never be said that I do not speak the truth and from actual experience! ;)

Thanks Nimrod!:)

I guess I should have checked the Buse Forum a little more closely.

Now I will have to add the Satin Jack to the growing list of knives I must purchase.

Thanks Fanis :)

That gives me an idea of the size. Now I just have to come up with the $$$. It may be a month or two.

I have the SJ in my hand right now.......It feels...........ah, nice. Just right. It is sort of like if you took a Mean Street and stretched it kind of.......yea that;'s it, stretched it. It jumped right up there to the top of my most loved knife list. Get one, you wont be sorry.
