Satin or D/C Waki???

Has anyone seen or heard rumors of a satin or D/C Waki on the horizon??? I'm talking about shows or conversations folks may have had or overheard outside of this forum. IIRC, Eric alluded to one sometimes in SRKW's future, but I have not seen or heard anything since. Anybody know anything?

Double cut sr101 would rust like crazy - I assume that's the reason we have never seen a dc blade from the swamp. A satin version will rust pretty easily too, so I wouldn't really be sad of no LE waki was released, but Eric did hint at the possibility by posting the "rodent bite" pictures which had what looked like waki handles and "LE" in the filename.

Well, I hope that gossip is from a good source because that is what I am waiting for. If it never comes out, the Waki will pass me by.

Its funny how busse-kin is a microcosm of the entire economy but explains or demonstrates a lot of its principals. Before the m9 came out people were seemingly having problems giving away their HCLEs.

The design looked great, the choice in steel was alright, but if they were SR101 they would be much more sought after... IMO. Convex ground, zero edge, SR101 HCLE.
