Satin or polished blade?

I am soon to put in an order for a large 21, and I'm just wondering what people who have the polished blade think of it. I've seen plenty of pics online (but haven't seen it in person) and it looks pretty sweet. On the other hand, I do like the satin-finished blades that are more common. Just wondering if anyone has strong opinions about this. The handle will be the beat blasted titanium, with a custom reverse silver graphic which my wife is designing. Thanks.

My small unique graphic has a polished blade and it looks pretty amazing. On that knife, I would prefer it that way. However, on a knife that's going to be a heavy user, I would go with stonewashed. I'm not sure how the polished blade would hold up.

Polished.
Imho the polished finish is more like a satin and what you refer as a "satin" is stonewahsed.
Since this will be a one off, make it more special and go polished.

Of course you have to show us the finished knife.

Polished...don't buy no ugly knife :)

I use my polished small and there are no significant scratches, but I know how to sharpen and don't use it to dig in dirt.

Polished blade is my personal choice.
I edc a Large and Small Sebenza, both with polished blades, and have no issues with the polished blade for any cutting chore that presents itself.

In my mind, the words satin and polished are synonymous. I always saw the standard finish as more of a fine stonewash.

Semantics aside, I prefer the stonewashed blade because, in my experience, it hides scratches better than the polished finish.
