Satin Recon 1

This was asked not too long ago and the answer was it is not possible until after the current exclusive option for the Canadian dealer runs its course. Not necessarily definite after that, just possible.

It’s kinda an odd(not smart) decision to do a highly demanded satin version as an exclusive for a retailer that has a much smaller market.
Imagine Spyderco only produces black DLC version of Paramilitary 2 and only do Satin version for as exclusive for Bladehq... Oh wait, they recently made similar dumb decisions to make Para 2 tanto exclusively for Bladehq.
 
Yeah this is kind of a bummer. It's more expensive and you tack on shipping to the states.

We know Lynn Thompson does things - his way and how, he likes it.Take a look at some of his youtube videos of him describing and show of their newest wares.

Then again,Cold Steel is not Spyderco.Where they're offer a whole bunch of different colors of G-10 and blade steels for their models like the Para-military 2.Got to admit,the retailer saw an opportunity and the demand,and took advantage.Just like any other Dealer exclusive to promotion their store front/online presence.

I ve got a clip point and spear point version, and they re very nice. I m not surprised that the retailer is out of the spear point blade.
 
If they make an updated version I want it with the same smooth G10 scales as the AD10.
