Satin Rodent 6

I have been considering getting a Rodent 6 for some time, but I want it in Satin, or uncoated. I can't find an option on their site , and the Contact Us links don't work. Does any one have one of these or pics ?

As of right now the Rodent Series is not available without coating.

You can always hunt down RMDx. It's only a fraction shorter, and the only other difference will be grind, RMDx is convex and R6 is saber.

Best way to get a satin blade is to work it in a woodpile! R6 is a great wood splitter.

Yes, that's a good way to get the coating off. But the Rodent series is not smooth under the coating, there is corrugation on the bevels.

For the time being it's not an option, even through the Custom Shop, but who knows what the future holds.
