Satin Super Commander

should be getting my satin super commander in a few days... any one out there using one of these, and if so opinions please.... currently using a mini commander mostly for edc, also carry a sark on the job.

any opinions would be appreceiated
 
I rec'd my satin finish Super Commander the 4th. I rec'd my Mini Commander BT the 13th. My 2002 Commander BT shipped today. I should receive it this Thursday. I guess I went just a little Commander crazy. :D

My all time favorite EDC is my Strider AR. It feels PERFECT in either hand, any type grip. My Mini Commander feels just a bit small. My Super Commander feels just a bit large, larger than my AR. I guess it's because the handle on my SC is fairly wide and thinner than I'd like. My Mini Commander is the same thickness, but it feels thicker, better proportioned. However, it's just a bit too small. I like carrying it more than my SC, but it's just a bit too small.

I said all that to say this. I LOVE the blade on the SC. It slices like a dream. I don't care for the handle. It feels awkward to me. The width is OK, but it needs to be thicker. This knife needs the thicker liners and scales of the 5 year Silver Shadow.

I have a feeling the 2002 Commander will be just right. :)
 
Commander`s are like American Express. Do`nt leave home without one. I really like the Super alot.
