A personal affirmation posted for the benefit of those other college students who recently committed to that LE whore. That they might gain some measure of comfort from these words, and that these words might resonate with those who read this.

Can I afford this knife right now? Barely. Will I be able to afford it 7 or-so weeks from now? God give me the moxie and self-restraint to make it so. The decision has been made, I'll deal with the reprocussions in due time.

'T is a poor thing to call this a knife. I am investing in a piece of enduring art, and that can never be wrong.

...Hopefully.

In any case, at least I know I'm not alone.:D

If I had the forethought to own such quality in college I would have done so in a heartbeat, so good going IMO.:thumbup:

There seems to be a grim finish on the glossy veneer of life as we know it. For one day the gasoline will burn no longer. I too am taking the plunge for the satin Iron Maiden. I must do everything possible to maintain enough funds for when she shoves off and makes her pilgrimage to my doorstep. :D

I just date a lot of women, and not actually go on a "date". Therefore I don't spend any money. :thumbup: :D (Save maybe icecream or something.)

Truer words were never spoken, as I have seen the light and now all my money goes to Jerry and Scotch:thumbup: .
