I just got a new VTAC. The grinds are crisp and the edge is stout but still shaving sharp. I had ordered one when I got back from BiH a couple of years ago and was not very enthused with it. This new one corrects every deficeincy found with the other. I think the first one was just a fluke. At the time the demand was huge and everyone was crying where's it at, I want mine now. Hell so was I.

I traded the other one off and went back to using small maddox I picked up a home despot. Now I have the Tool I wanted to begin with. Too cool. The VTAC Should be available to every D.I.C.K. that has room on his ruck for it.

I picked mine up from Botach their site is worth checking out. A lot of decent equipment and a low "Mitty" factor.

just my 2 pfennigs.

SPATHA,
aaaaaah...I remember this feeling when I opened the package and took my VT in hand... I tough: " now I know what they mean when they say TACTICAL!".
Mine is allways at my side now and won't leave me on my next deployements!
May your VT protect you in your duty!
Congrats!

OK, I've been working out with this thing for a couple of days and I've learned a few things.
1 a lower center of gravity makes for faster strikes with more power (okay I knew that - but the hawk proves why)
2 main edge out to make under handed baton strikes
3 the styptic pencil in my dobb kit can repair a 1in. scallop of the wrist
4 styptic pencil can teach you new dance steps
:D

Sounds like another one of our customers.....you and Bob could be blood brothers.:p

Just and update for everyone the VT tacs are just about finished and will be shipping mid next week. So everyone that has an order in should get it well before Christmas. If any of you are doing some late Christmas shopping I should have plenty of Tacticals left to help fill your Christmas needs.

Thanks for the update Justin...and Spatha...thanks for the words of enthusiasm!

Just so everyone understands Justin's (Ranger Knives) discussion above about the VTACs...while Justin is no longer with American Tomahawk, he was good enough to assist and be involved in the completion of our "holiday batch" of VTAC orders.

If you do wish to place an order for VTACs, please do so through American Tomahawk Company's customer service phone line, website, or e-mail.

After this batch is fully shipped, Justin and Ranger Knives will no longer be a shipping point for Vietnam Tactical Tomahawks or ATC's other products. However, be sure to consider Justin's new R.A.K. model or other knives to go with your ATC Hawk!

Be well and thank you.
