Auntie sent these to me to check out for her, as they have slimmer than normal handles on them.
They are approximately 4.25 inches in circumference.
Perfect for those whom find our normal offering a bit too thick handled.
I personally like them this way.
She wanted me to make sure they would hold up, I can assure you they will......
Why, because i already have a couple that are the same and i've not spared them. My favorite has been used quite hard with no ill effects
Also, in light of the last thread i posted, i've pre-tested these for you all according to Uncle Bills instructions.
Several hard whacks on a huge pine with the flat of the blade, Flex test by placing it in the hole on my cable spool and put weight on it and then 8 or 10 chops into a block of seasoned block knot (not in the knot of course, although i dont think it would've mattered.)

All passed with flying colors, as i suspected they would.

These are slight blems, only because of a minor dent in the right side of the bolster.
Otherwise they are perfect.

Great weights for 18" CAKs, and nice big bells on the handles.

To me they feel great, Steve...But what the heck do i know..;) :p
I would love to keep the 30 oz one myself, but i can't keep em all or you'd all be very mad at me!

Email sent on 30 oz CAK.

Canceled. The 30 oz CAK is still available. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Actually ladies and gents,

This is going to be an even fearsome chopper much like a Chitlangi/ Chainpuri with larger belly.
I do like the idea a lot and the weight is just nice.
Shark and use it with care! Wood chipping starts today.

wow; my 18' CAK was made by Bhakta Kami weighing in at 42.4 ounces..... how does that happen?? If you don't have a CAK and don't buy these Khkukuris you must be nuts.... despite the weight its so well balanced it feels much lighter

FF-I have one that weighs in at 41 oz.-and doesn't feel that heavy at all.In fact these are running in the weight range of an M-43.These are beautiful knives.I want one,but I think my wife would hang me by my thumbs if I bought another right now ;)

I think it has something to do with the mass in the spine and/or handle.

Despite the ding in the bolster, these will be great users for those who want a bit lighter blade with a smaller diameter grip. They feel great in hand to me. I like them because with my medium hands i can lock the handle in a bit better than with the larger diameter handles.
Did i mention that these things chop like theres no tommorrow?

Just a thought. I always prefer 3 pins on my khuks. I'm a bit OCD in nature so I'm always on the lookout for 3+ pins khuks, blades and etc. FYI, it's to do with my pal's and my one two pin fixed blades whihc had problems with the handles over time.

What she don't know won't hurt in the case of kukris :P

This speaks volumes, well done.

Thanks. Got one in Dhar wood already. My Manakamana Khuk is my current favorite khuk partly due to the scale pins :)

Nice pix and post, thank you Karda
