Yesterday I finally found some time to go for a hike - to my favorite lake. It's still frozen, but looks very nice that way.

There is still some snow in the forest, but not much :

Very good pictures. And you sure know your ways with NMSFNO, I would not be able to put so many wood down with this one.
I also admire the clean cut you have managed ... :D

On the serious side I think you got some really beautiful environment around you. Looks really relaxing and restful.:thumbup:;)

Wow !!!!!,,,,,I knew the NMSFNO was sharp,,,,, but to be able to chop through those logs so cleanly........ lol :D . Nice pics,,,,thx 4 sharing them,,,,, I have the exact same blade, black / sage ,,,,,,,, gr8 choice :thumbup:

Clean cut is not a problem. You just need some practice. For a beginer it's good to start with carrots. Chopping logs are the same, as chopping carrots the but you just have to use a bit more strenhgt :D

Thanks for nice words!

I suppose I have to repeat: you live in some beautiful country.

That NMSFNO looks far too neat and clean. Time for you to mess her up!:D

Thanks for the pics TH... another great set!!!

Thanks for sharing.

But dude... get that NMSFNO a lil' dirty would ya? :D :p ;)

Actually I chopped couple of branches with it to see how it performs. It's an efficient chopper. Better than Sarsquatch that I used to have. The handle is a bit large for my small hands, and I plan to sand it down a little. The sage coating is very tough. The chopping left almost no signs on the coating, but the truth is the blade was not used hard. I really like the NMSFNO
In two weeks time I'll be clearing a garden around a summer house my brother bought, that's when the knife will truly be tested. (I'll take my camera and than I'll post pics).

Clean air, beautiful scenery and a Busse. What could be better! Thanks for sharing.
