Savant?

I've read that the next generation Pioneer will be the Savant. Will the Pioneer's handle design be retained? I love the Pioneer handle. The Pioneer II is still one of my favorite knives to use along with many much fancier ones.

If the basic handle format the Pioneer is reatained, I will definately be picking up a D-2 Savant later this year.

I seem to remember Bob Taylor hinting about a plastic handled knife a while back. Is the Savant that knife? I think I will need to do a search.
