This 16.5" WWII was made by Bura and is so marked. This pretty much tells the story. The khukuri is excellent with a magic stone mirror finish. Karda and chakma are a bit on the small size but good. Sarkis were reasonably sober and did a pretty decent job on scabbard and HI superfrog.

So, what's wrong with the knife? Very little. There is a tiny crack near the bolster that superglue will fix but this is enough to make this knife go into the blem box. Remember, it has to be perfect at HI or it doesn't go as first line.

So, what's the deal? $25 off for the superglue crack and $10 more if you are a father.

Send $90 and I'll send the khukuri. And, I am digging around for a couple more Father's Day specials so stay tuned in you are not going to Dad's place for the weekend.

Email or call if interested.

Gone.

Vince, you've got it. And little girls are just fine. I have two grand daughters that I think are the most beautiful little girls in the universe -- and maybe the smartest, too!

I'll ship tomorrow or Monday and have a happy, Bud.

Vince - on the topis, I showed up right after he got out of the hospital and badgered one out of him. I've been on him to get some more NON tourist ones so I can trade off now and then. Keep up the pressure.

I don't wear ties anymore, but a topi works for me, after I realized nothing could look more moronic than turned around baseball caps. If Unc. keeps it $5 or under I'll take ten different ones, if they go $10 I'll take 5.

Now that I've my topi on, off I go to town.

No word on the topis but I hear the remaining 10 jolas we have on order are in the air. Who would think the Tibetans would run out of jolas up at Swaymbunath?

Actually, they didn't. They just ran out of the kind we wanted -- typical HI quality is not always available like tourist quality is. We want only the best no matter what it might be that we are getting for our nephews here -- anything less goes as a blem or doesn't go at all.

It is sort of a handbag-backpack. There's pix here somewhere. Try a search and see if you can find anything. If nothing comes up email me and I'll send you a pix or post another one.
