The rig looks just like this:

Except the scabbard took a hit during shipment and the back is cracked. See below.

As you know the entire rig was made by Bura. Khukuri is 12.5 inches and 11 ounces of perfection.

Front side with all the goodies is undamaged.

Some epoxy and clamping will put this rig back to 95% perfect.

We will deliver this rig to your door for $175 -- $100 off regular. Anybody who has had a hankering but not the cash for a RSMD now's your chance.

First call or email takes it away.

(The price reductions Uncle offers for various 'imperfects' are ridiculous! like my 20in Kesar/Sher AK - 50 or 75 USD-off [can't remember which] because of a slight imperfection in the leather of the scabbard in the back!....)

At Hi if it isn't perfect we refuse to sell it as such. That's one of the reasons our prices are as high as they are. We don't settle for second best.

Ben you are absolutely right, great deal. I lucked into a treasure I have been looking at for along time. Since I am a peruser instead of a user, I think I can do well with this gem. If it looks half as good as the pix, I'm a real happy camper.:D My wall will be graced. I think my collection now is almost a half a dozen, small I know, but special to me. I made the pleasurable sacrifice and gave a BAS that I had to a friend that has just oohed and ahhed(spelling?) sinced I started collecting. It was what needed to be done.

These blades are spooky, Bob. They always seem to find the place they need to go...sometimes through people who know when they need to go there. Pala can figure cost per blade, as any good manufacturer will do, but I betcha he can't explain that one ;)
