For those of you who don't want or need the F5 workout while waiting for Jerry's GO GO GO, or when fighting for that BCS blade, here is a small internet explorer plugin that will do it for you...

Simply download from the link below, install, close and re-open internet explorer, then click on VIEW, then TOOLBARS, click on the REFRESHER BANDCLASS toolbar, and you should get a new toolbar that will let you choose your auto-refresh interval. I am using IE 7 and it seems to work OK.

Just remember to turn it on only when needed, or (as I found out today) when you are half-way through typing that long-winded posting it will auto-refresh and you will loose it all !

And just when my index finger was able to lift an engine block, mckrob comes along and evens the playing field. :D

WOW
My cable modem is so fast,
I bet I would pass the knives and re-load 10 times B4 I stopped it...

yesterday I was down loading a movie trailer at 7550 kilobytes per second.
I smelled smoke!!!:D :D

i downloaded it, set it for a 1/4 second reload, and still missed the damned desert olives:mad:

.

I find I have luck with my right index finger. By the time a Go is posted, it's more up to the traffic delay than anything. Refreshing every 1/4 second when it takes 10 seconds to load anything isn't worth it.

And I've got a pretty good connection, so I'm good to go in terms of my Blade expectations.

Did someone say Desert Olive G10?

i got my desert olives, but they were a little dry.....i had to soak them in some vodka & gin to moisten them up again....

As as webmaster and fellow f5'er, I offer the following request/advice. One piglet hitting a web-server rapidly in usually no big deal. However, if a lot of hogs set the interval too short, then you can bring the server to it's knees, and then Jerry can't post the GO GO GO. In an effort to give yourself an advantage, you end up shooting yourself in the foot, and making life miserable for everyone to boot. If you feel that you must set the interval short, then learn to throttle back once the server is begging for mercy from the resulting feeding frenzy. Just my 0.02
