I'm trying not to get obsessed with the Benchmade BM941 Osborne collaboration but I'm having a bit of a problem. I've already got two LE versions with the red handles and the BC1 coated blades One for carry, one to save), as well as a plain edge standard black handled version.

Then today I stopped at the local knive shop and saw a BM941 with a solid Carbon Fiber handle and a D2 blade! Limited to a numbered run of 500!

Help! My wife really might finally pop if I come home with a 4th version of the same damn knife! What should i do?

when i saw it i was sad cause i already have a 943 and personally i can't justify buying it

How many pairs of black shoes does your wife have ?

You only live once. Buy it. If your wife doesn't like it tell her that it's an investment. Once they are gone it will be hard for you to get one.

Buy it and hide it.
If she finds it do what I do. Tell her you are going to sell one of your other knives ;)
Of coase I never do, I just say that :D

I had a girlfriend that complained that I had too many guns, "you can only shoot one at a time!" This same woman had four vibrators and at last count she didn't have enough places to use them all at once. Go ahead and buy it!

ROTFLMAO!

It is the coolest of the CF special editions. It has not left my pocket for the two weeks since I got it.

Get it and sell one of your others to cover.

Buy it! I have #264, and it hasn't left my pocket since I got it. This knife may be "the one"!

I can't believe that I'm actually considering a fourth version of the same production knife. But the truth is that the 941D2CF is way cool. It seems to be everything I've been looking for in an EDC. It's what I wanted when I bought my William Henry T10-CF. And several other knives. It's slim and light but with a good sized blade of tough steel that holds a great edge. And the lock is great (can't believe that I'm saying that after all my scepticism about the Axis lock).

If it was BC1 coated, I'd probably own it already.

The other problem is that Blade west is coming up next weekend and I'm supposed to go with a couple buddies. There's only so much cash and I'm trying to get new windows put in the house and just bought a new car so the reserves are a bit low. I hate using credit cards and presently have no floating balances and I'd like to keep it that way.

Just picked up 175/500 from Plaza Cutlery in Costa Mesa. Very nice looking knife. If you have to, put it on the credit card. When these baies are gone they are gone.:D   ;)

I love the knife, the carbon fiber made the knife to me. I never liked Aluminum handles on a knife, but I liked the profile of the 941's and the axis lock and the blade profile. So now bang the perfect knife, well almost, don't want to ever find "the" perfect knife then Id have to quit buying them ;)
