Hi All,
I went to a small local gun show today. By small maybe about 200 tables...not much for the $5 parking and $10 entry fee. Anyway I did see a few Buck knives there for the first time.
About 5 different tables had a few or at least 1...one guy had a brass 110 with Ironwood scales..it had the 100 yr emblem on it. He said he wanted $100 for it...But, it was a home custom job and the emblem was not centered:barf:
Another had some 119's and Alpha's all current stuff and at full retail price.
One guy had a well used 102 with no sheath.
Another guy had a used 180 crosslock I got it for $10:thumbup:.
Then there was a guy who had a few nice LE Bucks...916 CA Sheriff Bowie...I already got one
..a nice 903 Bowie with the Black Smith shop etched in gold on the blade:thumbup: When I asked him about it he said it was worth $350-400...I said they have been selling for $200-250 on ebay...he said well I have the wood display box and all of the paperwork...and...I could let you have it for $275
. I said I'd give him $250 for it....NOPE sorry $275 is as low as he would go...I'm glad I passed the BCCI site show's it's worth $200!!!!! He had a gold 560 TI for $75 a few LE Alpha's and Akonua's...all over priced....at least for me. Man-O-man loved that 903...first time I've seen one in person.....Sweet and that would match the Black Smith Shop 110 Jimbo sold me!!!! Oh well some day.
