Saw a sword in a display at work....

Saw this and snapped a few pics. I don't know anything about it and neither does its owner. He actually asked if I knew anyone who could tell him about it

It looks a lot like a replica of the "Colada" sword, one of the swords of El Cid Campeador, taken in combat from the Count of Barcelona (the other sword was "Tizona").
 
I have a cheap touristy sword that shares a lot of features. I bought it while on vacation in France when I was a teenager. It was made in Toledo. Thin blade, but good steel though.
 
It's a Toledo wall hanger. You can probably unscrew the pommel to find a rat tail tang. Probably doesn't have an edge. There used to be a store called Harpers in my home town that would always have like 10 or 12 of these for sell at any time for like $50.00. When I was 8 I thought they were the absolute coolest thing in the world. So much so I begged for one for my birthday and quickly broke it about a month after getting it trying to chop trees with it.
 
Yes it has a rat tail tang. I filled the handle of mine with epoxy and sharpened up the edges.
