The "Lords of War" (awful name) was a nice low key show with mostly a focus on historical firearms but with a couple of things that fit in here in the form of a Scottish basket hilt broad sword and a steel limb cross bow. I even recognized Larry Harley as the blade guy on the show. http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/lords-of-war/videos/sons-of-scotland/
Larry's health has been a problem for years and he got waaaayyyyyy behind on delivering knives he's promised and been paid for. He appears to be doing ok on the show and at least one of the guys I know that waited for a long time to get is knife for boar hunting in Europe finally got it so I hope Larry got caught up with everyone.
Anyway, the show wasn't overblown and completely unbelievable like some and was fun to watch and there's not much out that you can say that about.
