Walked into the gunshop around lunch and an older fellow nicked named "Mouse" was standing in for the owner who was away doing a show. So Mouse say "I've got something to show you since you like knives." He pulls out a plastic grocery bag and produces this knife and a picture from a magazine printed many years ago.

Mouse said, "you know Ronnie the gunsmith?" "Of course I do," I said. He then laid out the knife above and the picture from a magazine. Mouse says, "I handed Ronnie this picture and asked him to build the knife for me and this is the knife."

The thing is razor sharp and it's blade is made from a leaf spring, the guard from a piece of brass from a PT boat, and the ivory is from a hippo tusk.

Really an amazing copy from a picture IMO.

Sorry for a poor picture as I took is with my phone but I think you guys can appreciate the knife and the story.

Sweet blade, i like the lines...nice sweep that give it a touch of the exotic.

It looks like the original was Randall by the makers mark, I could be wrong though

Yeh, the knife is in the Randall style certainly too.
