Heads up on a good piece of kit to compliment your Beckers. A saw is a handy thing to have in the ruck for about a million things and I've got several, but this one caught my eye today.

It feels very heavy duty, locks up tight and is sharp as hell. It will do as well (if not better) than my Laplander.

Nice comfy rubber grip.

The hook on the end is sharpened and is handy to cut notches and stuff with.

Overall it's very, very impressive and the best part of all, it costs four dollars. FOUR DOLLARS.

I'm going to have one in every pack and in every boat I've got. I can't tell you where to pick one up but the initials are DG.

This branch is hard maple. Amazing.

Very handy looking tool. I have my SAK in the pocket of my 15 and love it for the saw. I might have to grab one of these for S&G.

Good idea.
I had an old wood-handled one when I was a boy scout some 30+ years ago. Left it at my folks when I moved out.
My dad recently retired, and found it when he was cleaning out the garage!
So, it has now taken its rightful place in my GHB.
