I handled a CR last night but don't know which model it was:confused: It had a 4-5" blade and similiar sized handle in camo micarata, with a blackish drop point blade. OD sheath that looked heavy duty:thumbup: Anyone know which model this was? Also handled it's bigger sibling that had a 7-10" blade but same size handle in micarata. Thanks

Thanks guys:thumbup: You were both right on the edge... Comment if you would like to on why there is only a one ounce difference between a 7" blade and a 5.5" blade:confused: 12.8ozs for the 7" and 11.8 for the 5.5"?

The handles felt about the same to me, and I noticed that they are both approx 5" long on both knives. Which leads me to a second question, are they both balanced for efficency, or does one work better in the field:confused: I'm not buying 'case queens', rather I want them for active bush work and/or gifting to active duty friends:thumbup: Thanks guys, they are nice blades
 
i have the 7" version. great knife. ive used it a bit, i have so many to choose from. the weight difference is minimal because an extra 1.5" of steel isnt very heavy. the handles are the same on both.

i didnt care for the look of the small, so got the large. i havent really beat it up, but it has performed well on basic camp tasks. food prep and such.
