Got in a slightly different stand location and didn't see anything early in the day. About 40 min before its too dark to shoot in woods I hit the estrus bleat can quick 3 times. Not long after a small 6 point came looking. Then I watched him rub on a tree which is why I am at this spot anyways. Cool to see what is making the small rubs
Then he wandered off.....and came back by following a really young doe. Yearling I believe.
I first saw him at about 50 yards through the brush. Man my heart was thumping when I saw horns. By the time he was about 30 yards I could tell he was really young. Good rack for a little guy. Small brow tines and a nice arched main beam with 1 tine.
He was anywhere from 15 yards to 60. Passed back by at 10 yards and watched him walk up and down the clearing I walk in on.
Pretty cool!
