Went to the Knob Creek machine gun shoot this weekend. Saw a lot of cool Spydies. Some Delicas with black FRN and black blades. Olive FRN and black blades. Pardon my lack of knowledge in model number but I saw a few of the knives with the web design in the blade. Other models I thought looked unique (meaning I hadn't seen them before) but again don't know their designation. Neat stuff.
Anyone else go to the shoot?

Always nice to spot a bunch of spydies. See the site in my sig for the complete line-up. I guess that one with the web was either an R or a Q.

Ted

Well there was a Warren Thomas Kerambit, two R's and a Q. That's all out of the ordinary that stands out in my memory.

Ted, I have a small knife that is a smaller version of the SS progrip. I think it's called the provenitor. If you'd like, I'd be happy to send you a couple pics, so you can add them to your list.

Hi Walking Man. Thanks, But, I think you mean the Spur? (C32PS) (The one that's pictured on the top of my list)

(bottom one in the pic)

I have two, am working to replace the kraton with wood on one of them.

EDIT:

Forgot to tell, the name 'Pro Venator' was the second name for what's now called the 'Pro Grip'. The first name was 'Pro Hunter' but that was already trademarked.
Not to be confused with the name 'Ironstone Hunter' which was the (nick?)name for the Pro Grip without kraton inserts (2nd one from the top in the picture). That was an evolution of the standard Hunter (C03PS)

The small one has always been called the Spur. Only 1200 were made. A new run will be released in the 3rd or 4th quarter this year with VG-10 steel and grey kraton inserts and a standard clip. Also a bit thinner.

Thanks,
Ted

Hi Ted, nice knives you have there. The FRN Pro Grip looks like full flat grind. Is it for real or is it just the reflection on the blade? Never heard of a full flat grind Pro Grip.

Dialex, it's just the reflection. It's a standard hollow ground blade. Here's another picture.
