i never even knew that emerson had collaborated with protech, but look how beautiful this knife is, if figured the emerson fans would get a kick out of it.

I'm not sure when the first one was produced, but Protech has been making Emerson collabs for a while now. They are well made and fire really hard, not overly expensive either. I've debated on getting one, maybe in the future.

Not an offering "from eBay", automatic knives are illegal to sell or buy on eBay (Paypal prohibits it as well of course). Just some dummy that doesn't know the rules, that listing will be pulled as soon as someone reports it unless it's allowed now. Coincidentally, I have one, a CQC7A, very nice piece.

I have one as well; came in a trade. It's a nice, solid, simple auto. Very "Emerson". I can't carry it, but it's nice to have it in the Emerson drawer in my knife chest.

Dale, the only isue I have is when I got it the tip was very rounded and it looke oversharpened (new knife). I might have to contact Dave and see if I can get a different blade, after I wear this one out though. :)

I had one but it didn't have a good feel in my hands and as soon as I got it I sold it-they sell pretty quick-not on Ebay but thru some collectors site

Hey Rev...

Mine is nice and pointy as I look at it and play with it around the house. It reminds me very much of the blade profile on my Volli. Nice belly, sharp tip, and double beveled instead of single beveled. I even like the aluminium handles on the Protech. They've done a good job of texturing them to make them grippy but not "sticky" like some G10 would be. No blade play, solid lockup, and a great sound when it opens and locks. It feels to me like the knife equivalent of the slide on my Glock G30 locking into place.

It's a shame I can't carry it. I think it'd be a great everyday user.
