Been waiting to ambush the mailman all day. Why does it have to be a holiday,,, :grumpy:  ;)

Decided to take an old favorite out to warm up, for the sawbacks arrival.

It's doesn't do too bad in the chopping department. Not sure if I like the small back end, the camp 2 fixed that. It kind of wants to slide out of your hand while chopping. But atleast I don't get the busse pinky bite. This baby is still damn sharp.

What it lacks in chopping power, it more than makes up for in pure sexiness. This is what drew me to Horton knives. I don't know the technical terms for everything. The dual grooves on the side of the blade,,,

The deep groove in the spine. I call it the DNA sampler,,, :D

And of course the band breaker in the spine. All the features that make a Horton Knife, the shizzle IMHO.

Kurt, nice write up and pics!

I can't wait to hear what you think of the chopper.

Kurt nice pics. I know what you mean about anticipation! Jeremey told me last week my custom chopper is 3/4 done and I am dying of anticipation!

The only pic I took before I scratched it and decreased it's value.

Kind of a wet day, so I didn't take too many pics. Camera is not waterproof. Here's the first victim. Went back on the local Mt. Bike trails. I was about 50 yds off the trail, had 4 bikers go by. Probably wondering what the hell I was doing. I'd swear they started to ride a little faster after seeing the 10" camp 2 in my hand.

I'm sure Pauli would like the trails around here,,,

I love the grind on this blade, all the practice j has paid off. Just a personal thing, but I still like fatter grips. But then I like Glocks also, what does that tell you. :D

But it's not a deal breaker, this one fits my hand perfectly. Good chopper,,,

This fir was particularly tough. Maybe I didn't use a big enough baton? Had to beat the hell out of it, to get it through. The sawback is hard on batons too. Love the Camp 2's,,, :)
