I handled one at a show a few years ago and at the time was not interested in its particular design. But my curiosity is peeked again and was wondering if anyone can provide a brief review of the knife.

One of the classiest, most precisely made knives I own. When the blade spine meets the backspacer, the fit between the blade and liners, and spine and backspacer is completely invisible. Incredibly thin and totally ambidextrous because of the Sawby self-lock, coupled with a reversible clip. I've got to say it's a little small for the "Combat" part, at about 3", but the blade is very sharp, and I find the design to be quite functional

There's one for sale in the "Knives for Sale - Individual" forum for $350, which is an absolute steal.

Brian,

Change that to absolutely "stolen".

Scott's work exemplifies knives that are meant to be used. The blade is ground correctly thin, they are thin in overall construction, yet rock solid. He has the best pocket clip design, IMHO. Scott's lock mechanisms, while at first takes some getting use to, becomes second nature after use. I have yet to see him put out a "dog". His warranty is beyond reproach, and dealing with Scott is an absolute joy. God, I miss my Sawby already!

...but there is definitely going to be another one (or few) in the near future. I can't say enough good things about them. Get one and use it, and you won't be sorry.

Take care,
John Johnson
