Sawsall metal blade hardening

Can you be more specific in your question? I am having a hard time understanding what you're asking.

Sawsall blades come hardened, otherwise they wouldn't last at all cutting anything, much less metal. Maybe I am missing something.

Any quality brand of metal cutting blade is already going to be heat treated / hardened. If you're looking for longer life, try some carbide tipped blades. They're about 3x as expensive, but they last 3x longer... 😁

Sorry, This was a Dumb Question. Thank you for responding!

If this is a bandsaw blade we are talking about, try adding lube/wax/coolant to the part being cut.
it will help your bandsaw blade last longer

I agree. A tube of Saw Blade Lubricant does wonders on my metal cutting band saw. I just push the tube against the running blade for a second or two and it lubes the whole blade. If cutting slows down on a large cut, I give it another hit.

Also, a metal cutting saw blade isn't made from diamonds. They won't cut hardened metal or hard things. The teeth will dull almost immediately, and the blade is ruined.
