sawtteeth

To me saw teeth look cool but they hender more than they help. I have a Randall 18 with them and it never gets used, just looked at. I have tried battoning a knife with saw teeth and it doesn't work out very well. I have tried using the teeth to cut limbs and that didn't work well either. But they do look cool. That is only my opinion.

i have a model 14 randall that also has worthless teeth

but i really like reeves teeth just for notching

I think the teeth should only go the first couple of inches from the point, then the spine can safely be battoned.
In this day of CNC though how hard is it really to cut some proper teeth?

I'd agree.

The hard part is creating the "se"t to the teeth which is what actually makes them functional. Without it they are decorative at best.
