Was looking for something to put my large Sawyer water filter in. Remembered my wife gave me this coffee tin a few years ago. Fit like a glove. Gonna get some bands to put around it, to hold the lid on:

Where did you get the tin? What brand coffee? For bands get some black riggers bands or commerical fishing UV resistant bands. They're awesome.

It came from Starbucks. about all I know. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm wondering about rust after awhile, to be honest. I've never used the filter, but after I do, there will b e moisture. I was telling this to my wife when I discovered it would fit. Then someone else brought it up in another forum. I have a plastic container for my Sawyer mini:
