Beef marked down in the grocery store: regular price $5.99 per lb. Close Date/Manager's special $6.50 per lb. Either that or both were the same price. I have probably seen both.
Had a friend get on a super saver's club at the drug store to make their prescriptions cheaper since said friend didn't have insurance. The prescription was the same price cash and on the club. Talk about an embarrassed clerk...
Walmart rollback, reg 3.33 each, now on sale, 3 for 9.99. I have seen several times places where something that was 29.99 one week, is "marked down" to 34.99 from the "regular price" of 39.99 the next week.
Dog treats on Amazon. The "medium" option is $6.92 with free shipping. The "two-pack" option is $26.99 with free shipping. I've ordered it both ways. The medium is a single 1 lb bag. The "two-pack" is two 1 lb bags. I fell for the two-pack twice before I figure it out. Now I order 5 "mediums" at a time and get 5 lbs for about $38.00. What a scam if you don't read it carefully.
