Columbia Jacket on Amazon -- List Price $ 140.00 , Amazon price $ 139.95 , You save $ 0.05

There are lots of crazy things like that in advertising .Give us an idea of the stuff you've seen so we can start the New Year laughing !!

Beef marked down in the grocery store: regular price $5.99 per lb. Close Date/Manager's special $6.50 per lb. Either that or both were the same price. I have probably seen both.

Had a friend get on a super saver's club at the drug store to make their prescriptions cheaper since said friend didn't have insurance. The prescription was the same price cash and on the club. Talk about an embarrassed clerk...

Wal Mart is the best. 6.97 on clearance for 6.94. I see that type mark down there all the time.

I was at Sears years ago and saw Dockers on sale for a penny off. Big sign advertising the sale.

In my local appliance store. Fridge freezer. PRICE ATTACK!!!! was $698, now $697!!!!!

I had to sit down and catch my breath

Walmart rollback, reg 3.33 each, now on sale, 3 for 9.99. I have seen several times places where something that was 29.99 one week, is "marked down" to 34.99 from the "regular price" of 39.99 the next week.

I saw one today. A fold up saw and a pruner in the same package, says "a $24 value" price was $24.99

Dog treats on Amazon. The "medium" option is $6.92 with free shipping. The "two-pack" option is $26.99 with free shipping. I've ordered it both ways. The medium is a single 1 lb bag. The "two-pack" is two 1 lb bags. I fell for the two-pack twice before I figure it out. Now I order 5 "mediums" at a time and get 5 lbs for about $38.00. What a scam if you don't read it carefully.
