G'day, long time reader, first time thread starter. Can't help that I go on all the time with a question and get an answer by shear weight of knowledge these forums hold!
Anyway my story and question. I just purchased a Hattori HD Gyuto 180mm (for people unfamiliar with this particular kitchen blade;
orhttp://www.japanesechefsknife.com/HDSeries.html#WIDTH:%20422px;%20HEIGHT:%20217px)
I know, I bought the small one, but JKC didnt have any of the bigger variety so as a sort of "compensation", I am looking for a nice storage medium. I know the quad figure KD Hattori's come with nice wooden Kiri boxes, however I do not know where to buy them seperate. Preferaby however, I would like some kind of sheath, not a real knife sheath per say, something more along the lines of wooden saya would be perfect. As I have already spend over 150 AUD for this gift, I don't want it getting too expensive so for people nominating custom sheath makers, only if they work on a budget
.
These options are the only two I could think of, any ideas or other ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Matt Keks
