Hi All,

I came across this forum researching 2x72 grinders and want to put together the SAYBER OSG open source grinder.

I'm having a tough time understanding the cad files and which ones I need to have a shop use to cut. I tried registering on the site but it's been 24 hours and my account hasn't been activated yet so I can't ask any questions.

I downloaded this zip file and it includes a bunch of files. Any idea which file I need to have the shop use to cut? http://sayberosg.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=135

Any help would be great.

Thanks

It looks like the file "375 Cut Rev 2.dxf" has all of the individual pieces nested together, but without the spacers.

The "375 Cut w spacers Rev 2.dxf" file has the same components nested together, but with the spacers (205 Spacer.dxf) added in.

The "250 Cut Rev 2.dxf" file has the Base Plate and something else that I couldn't figure out.

The "125 Cut.dxf" file has 2 small parts.

I'm guessing the 125, 250 and 375 cut files refer to 1/8'', 1/4'' and 3/8'' material thickness. Just a guess though. Regardless, the 4 "Cut" files are what you would want to send to have cut. No harm in just sending everything though, in case the company wants the individual files.

You can download the Autodesk DWG Trueview program for free, so you can view and print the DXF files: https://www.autodesk.com/products/dwg/viewers

Hello mate,

Just wondering do you still have these files as they appear to be no longer available?

Cheers.
