I got this knife from a flea market however long ago. It was fairly new, some use. Bought it for 8 bucks. I carved and carved with it. I found it not to long ago with my stuff. I decided it to be a "garage" knife. I put a grinder to it and got a really nice edge. Just an hour ago, a quarter of a blade broke of. The sheath is garbage now, with it being mostly electrical tape. I plan on grinding it down so I can still use it. I think this might have been a Colonial. Have you guys broke(destroyed) a knife you loved not on purpose?

About 10 years ago i broke the tip off an Old Timer skinning knife that was given to me by my grandfather before he died. I kept the knife but i still feel bad about it when i see it

I second the  on the grinder. That's no way to treat a knife you love

Get yourself some files and take your time and redo the blade.

This was before I bought a sharpener, and I am more experienced with it than files. DOn't worry, I have done this before. I'll show you the final product.
