Back in 2005 I had a job change and move that took me away from knife making, but I've now retired from the regular job routine and am slowly getting back into knife making. I want to say how amazed I am at the talented knifemakers that frequent this place...thanks for the inspiration. Here's a linerlock I just finished up... I call it the Working Man's Fancy Folder. Specs...

Blade -3/32" ATS34; hollow ground
Anodized Titanium Liners 0.050"
Fileworked Backspacer (also ATS34)
Scales -Textured Green/Black G10
Stainless pocket clip

Any comments welcome and thanks for the look. -Phil Tham

Well, I would say that "being away from it" hasn't held you back at all !! Beautiful work, love the file work on the back, and the handle scales are an interesting design - did you make that as well ?

Superb craftsmanship !!

No, I didn't make the G10. Had a piece of 3/8" thick sheet that I split with a hacksaw to make the scales.
